Today we ventured out to "town"- Elk Rapids is the closest civilization to the cottage. It has a bunch of cutesy stores and antique shops. That means that I love meandering downtown, and Bryan hates it.
Luckily, I let Bryan have a guys night at the casino earlier this week, so he was forced to endure window shopping with Ian and Chase in tow. :)
Ian was quite the village cutie- saying hello and goodbye to everyone we met, and endearing himself to the shopowners so much that one of them gave him a sticker and a sucker "just like the doctor!"
We had to take this picture while we were out...Ian saw this fire hydrant and exclaimed, "Look! A red cactus!"
