The Buddy Walk is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our local Down Syndrome Association, but also provides funds to the National Down Syndrome Society. The money that we raise benefits national education, research and advocacy initiatives, as well as local programs, such as new parent groups like the one that I run and Camp Horizon for our local teens.
