NOT PAINLESS!!! Bone marrow extraction is one of the most painful procedures I ever saw! Think this one over! Oooh...I can still hear the crunch of bone when the doc started boring the opening....ewwwww!

Well, I meant the collection kit was painless...and I think that I read somewhere that they put you under for the actual donation.

I've thought about doing this. Maybe once I'm out of school in case I need a day off or two. I've spent time with kids with cancer and once you do you never forget them. Knowing what they go through makes you not care about the pain you'll have after the donation.
