One of Chase's favorite activities today was climbing up on the train table and clacking a strand of Mardi Gras beads on it.

I don't mind his little inventive ways, but it's just a little disheartening that we have
this much stuff to play with, and he's happy with a string of freebie beads... :)

That should make Christmas shopping a whole lot easier.

I sympathize. One of John's favorite activities: throwing a block on the hard wood floor, chasing after it, throwing it again, chasing after it. He plays "fetch" with himself. He does like to build with blocks too, but sometimes I get a little disheartened when he seems to have no interest in just playing with toys.
